A.B.C. is designed for young players of all talent and experience levels, we offer a welcoming and yet challenging atmosphere where every player has the opportunity to learn and improve. A.B.C. features a great variety of drills, competition and contests that keep each day new and exciting with the week culminating on Championship Friday. Every camper will receive a Camp T-Shirt as well as a hand written evaluation at the end of the week. Players will be tested on skill and athleticism and have the opportunity to compete in contests before and during camp. All campers will be members of both a 3 on 3 and 5 on 5 teams that will compete in a regular season schedule and have an opportunity to compete in a tournament in each. Players can purchase hot lunch on an individual day basis or for the entire week before camp begins.
Camp begins each day at 9 am and concludes at 3 pm. Each of the five days of camp is distinctly different with a morning drill session (Stations, Obstacle Course, Basketball Olympics, Skills Testing) free throw contest, individual contests (Lay-Up, Jump Shot, 1-on-1, and Ball Handling) as well as daily 3 on 3 and 5 on 5 games. In addition we will bring in guest speakers to talk to the camp about a variety of basketball related topics – in 2012 Michigan State legend Drew Neitzel delivered an inspiring talk about his career and how young players can follow in his footsteps while in 2014 University of Michigan star Jordan Morgan delivered an incredible speech to the camp. In 2015 Madonna University legend Bobby Naubert, German professional, gave a great speech on setting goals and following your dreams. In 2016 current Chicago Bulls assistant coach Charlie Henry, Madonna University Alumni, spoke to the camp and gave a great demonstration. Camp culminates on Friday afternoons when we have our awards ceremony at 2:15 pm. Campers are honored for their individual and team accomplishments in this time honored tradition.
All-Star Basketball takes great pride in providing “Block” drills that teach technique and fundamentals and combining that skill development with “Random” drills that require players to make decisions and utilize the skills and fundamentals in real game situations.

The idea for this league is derived from what many of us did as young players, while participating in fall sports (for me it was football), many of us would get the boys together on Sunday afternoons to play basketball so that we were ready when tryouts and the season came.
Our S.F.B.L. offers that same opportunity, focus on your fall sport but continue to prepare for the winter tryout and leagues.
Young men grades four through 12 will sign up as individuals and be placed on to a team of no more than nine players. Over seven weeks, players will receive drill instruction in our "Training Camp" game experience in our regular season and the opportunity to advance in our single elimination tournament.
While we do not have practice during the week, players will receive valuable instruction in game from their coaches who are Madonna University's players and staff. The S.F.B.L. thrives on have a great turnout so that we can place your son against players of his age and ability. We ask and encourage you to tell your friends about the league as it truly will create a better experience for all involved. We will work to create leagues of competitive age groups and size so that each player gains valuable experience.
