Virtual Basketball Training
Session 1 – April 13-25
Session 2 – April 27-May 9
Session 3 – May 11 – 23
Session 4 – May 25 – June 6
In response to the current social circumstances surrounding COVID-19, All-Star Basketball Camp will begin offering Virtual Basketball Training. VBT will combine technology with the A.B.C. expertise in youth basketball development to provide at home training with a personal and individualized approach.
Training sessions will be limited to a small number of players to begin, with the hopes that we can expand as needed.
Training sessions will be offered in packages of six sessions spread out over two weeks. This includes the following:
-Three training sessions per week
-1 hour each session
-Players will be either on a Monday / Wednesday / Friday or Tuesday / Thursday / Saturday tract. We will work with players on a first-come first-serve basis to fill the available times with our trainers.
To register, parents will contact me directly via email at [email protected] and then we will work to decide a training time. Once a time slot is filled, parents will have 24 hours to complete an online registration link that I will send directly. Payment is due up front.
How will it work?
Players must have a stable connection to a device with internet connection (phone or Wi-Fi) where they plan to workout. You should have one area for good weather (driveway) and one area for poor weather (garage or basement). We will use a private zoom meeting. Parents will receive an email with the zoom meeting and login information. They will be able to join up to 5 minutes early to ensure that the connection is working.
Sessions will last one hour and will be personalized to cover what the player would like to work on, including ball handling, foot work, foot speed, shooting technique (with or without a rim), functional strength and more.
Sessions will be one-on-one to begin with the possibility of offering two person sessions in the future for at a lower cost.
What do you need?
Laptop, phone, iPad or device that is portable and can connect to a zoom meeting. You must download the free Zoom app or access via a web browser. The safety and security of each player is essential, therefore, we will not be sharing the log-in information with anyone else. No purchase of software will be necessary. You will need at least a basketball. A hoop would be great if possible. Any additional training equipment is not necessary but may be used if available.
Who can participate?
Players age 8-15, limited to one player at a time.
Cost: Training sessions will be offered in packages of six sessions spread out over two weeks, three per week, one hour each session. Total cost for six training sessions is $150.
Reschedule or Cancellation of a session:
Due to our desire to serve as many players as possible we will not be able to move or reschedule sessions once they are scheduled.
To Register – Contact Noel Emenhiser – [email protected] – first-come first-serve for days and times.
